Torre Ciachea sits at the edge of the Palermo coastline, where the city finally gives way to open water and the evening light arrives without obstruction. It is the kind of place that asks a wedding to meet it halfway — not to compete with the setting, but to let the setting do what it has always done, which is to hold people and their moments with the particular generosity of the sea.

Marta and Roberto chose it without hesitation.

The morning began at L'Hôtellerie Easy Suites — Marta's preparations in rooms where the natural light came in clean and even, where the emotion of the day was already present and unhurried. Roberto prepared elsewhere, in the way grooms do when they understand that their role, for now, is simply to wait and to be ready.

The ceremony took place at the Church of San Giorgio, one of Palermo's historic religious spaces, where the grandeur ofthe interior and the filtered light through the stained glass gave the exchange of vows a physical weight that a ceremony in a garden never quite matches. Marta and Roberto said yes in a space built for exactly this kind of declaration.

The celebration moved to Torre Ciachea for the dinner and the party. Long tables, the sound of the sea arriving betweencourses, dancing that began formally and ended in the way good dancing always does — without agenda, without hour.The photographs from this part of the day are not planned.
